One of the biggest changes in my life, besides the weight loss, is the fact that I am finding what music I like. I have always listened to what ever the person I was with liked. But now that I am alone I'm finding that I do like Rock N Roll.... hard rock, soft rock, what ever rock.... I'm sooo far behind most Rockers, I'll hear a song and know that I like it but have nooo idea who does it or what the name of the song is... I'm trying to change that...I've been a real Spacey Lacey about music all my life...
I don't have an iPod or a MP3 player... shoot, my truck only has a tape deck and I just bought a CD player at home.... I have started to buy CD's that I like... Eric Clapton, ZZ Tops, Cold Play... I'm still finding out who I like so the list grow every day.
I really like the show Rockstar-INXS... and am surprized I have heard & know many of INXS's songs... they are on my list to buy now...
Last nights show I thought was one of the best... Suzie really rocked with one of my favorite songs from Queen "Bohemian Rhapsody"... I hope she gets the encore again tonight... I don't think she will win the competetion but I do think we will be hearing from her again...
Marty's Pink Floyds "Wish You Were Here" was good, IMHO, it was his best but I know it's not what he really is... he is more of the screamer type... I have found that I'm not crazy about the screamer type. I have a feeling he will be the next to go...That's my prediction at least... we'll see tonight.
MiG as usual was looking fine... got to love that boy... but I thought his "Live & Let Die" by Paul McCartney fell short of what he is capable of doing.
Jordis, what can I say, I love her voice but the last two weeks were not her best...
and then there is JD, I don't think there is anything I like about him. Hate his attitude, thought his redention of Elvis's "Suspicous Minds" absolutely Sucked.... but I'm sure he'll be here next week...

My first rantings....
OK What the Frack (a new fav word from Battlestar Galatica) My first day and I get all kinds of Comments and what are they? ...... Mostly people wanting something from me..... Come on give me a break.... Well #1 Niece went in and fixed that...shouldn't happen again... but it did start my heart rate up (almost as good as sex?. NAW) when I saw all those... especially the one about the Penis.... come on guys I'm old but not dead!!!
I think #1 Niece was jealous at first that I got so many comments so fast until she checked them out and then she just got a good laugh. She has her own Blog and as soon I figure out how to add all my favorite blogs to my page I'll let you know what it is. I'm still trying to figure out how to navigate around this thing... Have patience!!!!
I'm getting ready to go to the gym. Should do Cardio Kickboxing but since my toe still hurts...I bruised it good the other night kicking my coffee table.... I think I will just do cardio on the Life Cycle and then do some chest and arms workout with the weights.. I do love going to the weight room ... all of those muscle guys hang out there and they are always ready to help me.... poor helpless old lady that I am... teeehhehehehe...
Then home I go to watch INXS.... right now I'm torn between MiG (what the heck is with that spelling anyway?) and Jordace (don't ya just love her hair?)... I figure JD will win because anytime I have watched reality shows and I really don't like someone they win.... a Pox on JD....

All about Me, Myself & I
Hi,
I am a 55 yr old widow who 2 years ago woke up one morning and started her life over. In that time I have lost 61 pounds and am working on the last 25 pounds to reach my ultimate goal of 149 pounds. Now believe me this has not been easy but with the help of my many personalities it has been interesting...
Sexy Sue is my main personality... she is very motivated and postive. She loves veggies & fruit. Has no trouble staying on plan with eating healthy, drinking her water & exercise...She plays racquetball 4 X's a week, goes to the gym to work out everyday, does Cardio Kickboxing and runs at the park with her niece. Sounds too good doesn't she?
Then there's Evil Eva... she is the part of me that if you tell her she can't have something she will say "Ya wanna bet" . She loves nothing better than to get Sexy Sue in trouble. She is mean & spiteful, and the biggest "grouch".
She will try to convince SexySue that she doesn't deserve to be fit & healthy. That being fat wasn't all that bad. You get the idea, right. Evil Eva is not good!!!
But let's not forget Moanin' Mona... the part of me that cries about every lil ache & pain. She can't do anything....Whining is her favorite thing... That's basically all she does...whine, whine, whine....
Last but not least is Spacey Lacey, we don't see too much of her anymore and when she is around she's too spacey to sit down and type. She can't concentrate on anything for any period of time so hence the name.
Now be aware that I have always had these personalities, in fact my husband Lar (who passed away 2 yrs ago) named them. A quick note about Lar, he was my soul mate and I miss him very much. He is an inspiration to me to become the person I want to be... to live up to the name of Sexy Sue (his name for me).
Welcome to my blog which is going to be my journal of my life as it is now... probably mostly about losing weight because that is my main focus right but you never know what Evil Eva will do....
